UPCOMING PROGRAMME
APRIL
Sunday12th - Family Practice (for all practitioners)
10am-12.30pm, 5 Florence Street
Meditation & Movement (free movement & asana) from Anna exploring Hridaya or the sacred cave of the heart.
Followed by a special kirtan session from Ema Čulík/Yoga Ema. Kirtan is a sacred call and response devotional chanting practice
.
About Ema: Ema has been teaching yoga in Glasgow since 2018 and their great love is yoga philosophy - as a means of living well, of exploring new ways of being; of fighting for justice, and falling in love with the world.
Ema also teaches vinyāsa and yin, and continuing education for yoga teachers.
Kīrtan lets Ema bring together their musical background, their interest in Sanskrit, their love of storytelling and the joy of Bhakti expressed through sound.
About the practice: In Kīrtan we chant mantras and the names of the Divine in call-and-response, in harmony, in communal resonance. We’re all making sound together and it’s both intimate and collective as we experience sound both inside and outside the body. Kīrtan is held on the waves of music, but it’s not a performance. It’s a way of connecting, of being a channel. “I sing, yet not I - but God in me.”
Ema weaves stories and philosophical reflections into their kīrtans, to immerse ourselves in the mythology and wisdom teachings of yoga.

We're very excited to welcome Alexandra MacDonald back to Glasgow to lead a somatic lab.
About Alexandra: Alexandra is a dancer, yogini and somatics facilitator who has been immersed in the realm of embodiment for over twenty-five years. Formed by decades of exploration, inquiry, research and creation, her offerings are simple yet elegant syntheses that draw inspiration from the rigorous art of Shadow Yoga, the subtle craft of Body Mind Centering and the innovative laboratory of Embodied Flow, as well as the subtle energetic and philosophical elements of Tantra, Taoism and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
About the practice:
This lab invites you into a spacious terrain of somatic inquiry — a gently unfolding cartography where the body becomes landscape, and movement traces the contours of sensation.
The arc of the lab unfolds through spaciously guided somatic movement, cultivating sensitivity to breath, tissue, and the subtle layers of perception. From here, we enter the practice of authentic movement — deep listening, moving from within, and resting into the quiet potency of being witnessed.
With a cartographic sensibility, we explore the body as a living map — tracing, sensing, and uncovering layers of meaning and emergence. This approach offers a beautiful complement to existing yoga or embodiment practices, enriching the felt sense of movement, presence, and inner orientation.
Woven with the teachings of non-dual tantra and the sophisticated technologies of Embodied Flow, the lab offers a tenderly held space for nuanced exploration and embodied insight.
We close with time to absorb, reflect, and rest — allowing the practice to settle through journalling, shared reflection, and quiet integration.
Open to all levels of experience — from seasoned practitioners and facilitators, to those wishing to deepen their somatic vocabulary, to curious bodies for whom this terrain is still new.
Sunday 28 - Satsang
